Fall Foilage

I don't have a card to share but I have some photos from today. We drove around the mtn side today taking pictures. We went to the Katterskill Falls in Palenville NY it is the highest waterfall in New York state at aprox 260 feet high. We took the trial up along side the fall which it was gorgeous, chili but so pretty. We got to the top (not the tippy top) and I felt very dizzy and light headed. I never had an issue with heights I've been on some the highest and craziest carnival rides, I have flown no problem don't know what it was today. Maybe it was the elevation, I don't know. The first photo of the red tree, that is my baby that tree is in our front yard, I love it. It is so bright and vibrant, it's gorgeous. I'll be back later or tomorrow with a card to share. Have a great weekend!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! My husband and I just spent a weekend in Catskill, NY walking the "art trail" set up by The Thomas Cole House. There were 8 locations one had to drive, hike to visit locations that the Hudson River Painters painted from. It was so cool to see the view they saw over a 100 yrs ago and then see the view today. # 3 on the trail was the Falls you posted pics of. Beautiful and you definitely captured the essence of the area! ...and you're right it was a climb! You are certainly living in a beautiful part of New York!

Those are gorgeous pictures, Chrissy! Sorry you got sick, but look at the beautiful fall colors! Nothing like that around here. Maybe in some parts of Texas, but not in the Gulf Coast area.

Very pretty Chissy. But I know what is just around the corner, so I'm staying here in Florida where I can wear my flip flops all year long.

Those photos are awesome! I love Wisconsin, but wish we had more hills/mountains instead of just flat land. TFS!
