Sunday Scrappin #44

I'm getting a late start today to my Sunday Scrappin post.

First before we get started I want ALL dog owners to go read this blog and please make sure you do not have this dog toy in your home. http://thechaistory.blogspot.com/2008/08/chai-story.html PLEASE BE ADVISE THIS IS EXTREMELY SAD AND HEART WRENCHING!!!!

Without further to do here are my

TA DA'S

I made some more cards for the troops - Those 5 cards can be seen here

Back to the books card - this was a card idea I had "floating in my head since I received the image.

I tried a new technique bleached image and I also did last week's Sunday Scrappin challenge on this card (used embossing powder that I received last Christmas and never opened until the other day). Card can be viewed here (I love the way this turned out)

Halloween Card - I used an unopened embellishment on this card the boo Rubin I bought last year at an after Halloween clearance sale.

I finally finished my scrapbook page that I have been working on. It is from our 2006 WDW trip and can be seen here

TA DO'S

Carried over from last week I still have the cards for the troops to get in the mail (must be postmarked by the 20th) and I still have birthday cards to get in the mail (hey I never said I was good at mailing things)

I have a baby card I want to make for an online friend who recently had a baby

My to do list this week will be lite being that I will be working overtime this week and next week I'm on vacation!!!!

This week's Sunday Scrappin Challenge is use something from the kitchen. It could be tin foil as an embellishment... a food label to decorate a page... Kool Aid to make a scratch and sniff ... use your imagination! I'm defiantly going to have to pull my imagination out for this one. Hmmm.....I'll have to think on this one.

Everything looks lovely! I had such a busy week that I didn't even get to do one page or one card! This week I want to do a thank you card for my mom. I need something really easy yet cute.

Did you ever think of a sentiment for the books card?

Even though I already said it, I love that Back to the Books card! Couldn't THAT be your sentiment? "Back to the Books." Anyway, that's how I feel even though I'm on the grading side of things. :-)

Great two page layout of WDW and I love all your cards! Beautiful color combos. I hope you get all your To-Dos done! Have a great week!

I really like everything your got accomplished last week but I LOVE your Back to the Books card. How cute.

Thanks for the link to the dog toy. That story brought tears to my eyes. I have two small dogs but we don't have any of those toys thankfully!

The story on that dog is so sad, Tyson doesn't have any of those balls here thank goodness.

Beautiful cards and pages Chrissy, I always love looking at your cards as they are so unique, inspirational and there is always something I take away and *try* to learn. lol

Have a wonderful week, I hope work isn't too busy for you.
